My name is Mika Pääkkönen, and I am a 48-year-old man from Kuopio, Finland. I graduated with a degree in travel management in 1998 I graduated with a degree in travel management in 1998 and also as an wilderness guide in 2001, and since then, I have gained a wealth of experience in the travel industry.

​

I have spent six years in the military, where I specialized in guerrilla warfare tactics and reconnaissance. I have also had the opportunity to travel abroad on two overseas missions, in Lebanon in 1995-1996 and Kosovo in 1999-2000. Additionally, I have worked three years for a Danish company in the Balkan region. I have also been as an assistant manager at Tahko spa, as well as running my own snowmobile rental company at Tahko.

Throughout my diverse career and experiences, I have always been passionate about travel and exploring new places. Now, with the help of AI, I am thrilled to be able to share my travel experiences and insights with you through my blog.
